Atlanta Women in Business: a membership organization of business, career and professional women, founded in 1992.
|
I started Atlanta Women in Business in 1992, because there was a need in Georgia for an inclusive organization that welcomed business, career and professional women and provided them with the networking and educational opportunities they needed to further their careers, grow their businesses and shine in their professions. All in a march toward equality in the workplace.
Progress has been made, but much more needs to be done. Come and join us in our efforts and benefit from what we offer.
If we keep going at this current rate, we will achieve full equality in about 475 years; I don't know about you, but I can't wait that long. Lya Sorano, Founder & Principal Atlanta Women in Business

Membership Benefits
As a member, you are invited to all Atlanta Women in Business events, often at a discount rate. Our monthly "After Hours" is free for members.
At your request, we will list and/or feature you on our web site.
You are eligible for an electronic introduction to more than 2,300 members and friends.
Joint marketing opportunities and event sponsorships are available to you. Your news is eligible for inclusion in our monthly e-newsletter; deadline: the 15th of the month prior to the month of publication.
You will, in a timely fashion, be notified of third-party conferences and other events of importance to women in the business world. At this time, we draw your attention to the October conference, in Prague, of W.I.N., a global networking organization for women, with which we have been affiliated since 1998. Some of us have spoken at earlier W.I.N. conferences (Nahu Girma and Phyllis Carrera among them), and others have attended, especially in the early years, when the annual conference was held in Milan, where W.I.N. originated. If you work for a global company or have international expansion plans for your business, attending W.I.N. conferences is an important step.
Looking for a job? Or have an opening to fill? It's been made easy for you through our partnership with Jobing! ____________________________________________________________________ Atlanta Women in Business P.O. Box 28613 Atlanta GA 30358 Tel 770-455-8088 atlantabizwomen@bellsouth.net
